Weekend with Kenit

Weekend 26-27th: My youngest sis, Cik Na & family from Kuantan, came to spend a weekend in KL. I guess, nothing much to go/do in Kuantan though. Akid was excited when we mentioned about Aftah coming here. My other younger sister, Cik E and I started to call him Nik Mad since birth. Akid was confused why I call him Nik Mad instead of Aftah. Aftah's full name is Nik Muhammad Aftah & I prefer to call him Nik Mad. It sounds softer...
On Saturday, they visited Aquaria but we didn't join them as we had another commitment on that day. The next day, all of us went to Tasik Titiwangsa just to hop on the Eye on Malaysia. If my sis didn't insist to go up that big wheel, we wouldn't be there yet. Is it because it's near to our place & convenience to us, we tend to put it on hold by hoping we can go there some other time or anytime? Ends up that we totally forget about it. We do that almost all the time, don't we?
Eye on Malaysia
Not thrill enough and it's not high enough either,
but we enjoyed being up there...

Si kenit, Aftah aka Nik Mad, baru nak bertatih...

Nik Mad & his mentor, Abg Atid...
I can't help but to notice a gap in their sizes.

Kindy Sport's Day

20th May - Akid's kindy Sports Day. The kids gathered in the hall for the Smart Reader sports day. It's indeed normal which kids are always kids... They were as if in their own world. Most of them were restless, some were running frantically, the other were hysterically excited, talking, singing, playing, jumping etc... Despite their nature which normally have problem to stay still, these young innocent kids are always cute... at least to my eyes, no matter how funny & ridiculous they make themselves look like.

Pix taken on that day...

Akid & frens were doing aerobics

A Balance of Body, Mind and Soul

Last week, hubby and I attended the ESQ 165 training in marriot, putrajaya for 3 days starting from 16-18th May. In fact I was quite excited & looking forward to participate since we were about to sign up externally on our own expenses until I saw the advertisement in our company website. The speakers were Indonesian and from Indonesia, 2 of them & the younger one is quite good looking :). Looking at their faces, mcm buat facial, bersih & bercahaya. Hubby guessed they regularly perform solat tahajjud, wallahuallam.

The training was great, the sound and the audio systems were perfect. By the way, ESQ stands for Emotional and Spritual Quotient. 165 means 1 value, 6 principles, 5 actions.
~ 1 value for our faith in Allah.
~ 6 principles based on 6 pillars of faith (6 rukun iman) and
~ 5 actions based on 5 pillars of Islam (5 rukun Islam).

If I were to write on every single thing that I gathered from the training, it'll be a lot. So many things that I'd like to share here... hmmm maybe bit by bit, insyallah. It might not be in a structured way, mana2 yg teringat & terkesan jerlah kot, tambah2 kelemahan hamba Allah sorang ni yg lemah & pelupa gitu.... However, something good about this training was that I didn't notice the time flew so fast and I managed to stay till past 7pm. Kalau training lain dah panas montot, kul 5pm dah sound trainer... Normally, the staffs from my co. attended training to acquire certain knowlwdge or skills i.e. to close some skill gap or maybe to take a break from office. But this one, tell you our brains had to work harder. I can say pengisiannya agak berat but alhamdulillah, I was there to learn & experience something which may not be often offered by my organisation...

Stressing on our syahadah, our faith in lailahaillallah bahawasanya Tiada tuhan yg disembah melainkan Allah. Also a lot of sharing in the scientific findings with the ones stated in the Quran. Contoh teori big bang, mawar merah di angkasa, etc & etc... Amazingly, banyak....Satu persatu Allah tunjukkan pd manusia, teori2 yg dijumpai lately berhubugkait dgn kalimah2 suci Allah SWT . Andai kita celupkan jari ke laut, air yg melekat di jari itu sajalah ilmu pengetahuan yg ada pd manusia sekelian alam, walhal selebihnya adalah dlm pengetahuanNya...Subhanallah!

I notice that the speakers repeated the surah Al-shams several times during that 3 days training. Below, the tranlations of the surah Al-Shams (The Sun):

By the sun and it's brightness

by the moon, as she follows him

by the day, which shows its splendor

by the night, which draws a veil over it

by the haven and Him who made

by the earth and He who spread

by the soul and He who perfected it.

Betapa Allah menjadikan langit tanpa sebarang tongkat, menjadikan bumi & seluruh isinya. Allah menciptakan manusia & roh... Dlm setiap jiwa anak Adam sebelum dilahirkan, sudah termeterai perjanjian dgn penciptaNya. Demi jiwa & segala penyempurnaannya... Dlm setiap diri manusia tersedia ada 'Built-in' sifat2 Al-Husna, sifat2 terpuji Allah semasa lahirnya.

By the soul and He Who perfected it, and inspired it with knowledge of what is wrong for it and what is right for it. Indeed successful will be the one who purifies it. And indeed failure will be the one who corrupts it. - Al-Shams

Sekiranya Nabi Muhammad, Rasulullah SAW yg maksum beristigfar 70-100 kali dlm sehari, apatah lagi kita manusia biasa, umat akhir zaman ni. Ini peringatan untuk diri sendiri jugaklah...

Dlm surah Al-Shams, Allah bersumpah ke atas tujuh ciptaanNya...

Demi matahari dan sinarnya di pagi hari
Demi bulan apabila ia mengiringi
Demi siang apabila ia menampakkan diri
Demi malam apabila ia menutupi
Demi langit dan seluruh binaannya
Demi bumi dan yang ada di hamparannya
Demi jiwa dan penyempurnaannya
Allah mengilhamkan sukma kefasikan dan ketakwaan
Beruntunglah bagi yang mensucikannya
Merugilah bagi yang mengotorinya

Subhanallah, Subhanallah...

Kelam kelibut

Tangan Power Ranger
We had been rushing, kelam kabut for the whole past week. Started with an appointment with the pediatrician on Monday 7th, he suggested Akid to be admitted for 2-3 days in Ampang Puteri. Nothing serious, it was just a normal checkup & treatment for asthma.

"Orang sakit" was playing with his hotwheel...

Then after we settled down in the room, late that night, my youngest bro called to inform my 2nd bro had met with an accident. He was admitted to ICU in HUSM and was unconscious. We drove back to my hometown on Thursday after Akid had been discharged. Guess my parents need all the moral support from us even they had not been asking for it. Nothing much that we could do at that moment other than to pray to HIM. Few days after admitted, my bro has responded when my mom talked to him, he can move a bit & opened his eyes for few seconds. We drove back to KL on Sunday. Last night he'd been breathing without the machine support and as of now, after a week in ICU, he had already been transferred to a normal ward. Alhamdulillah, his condition is getting better.
