An expat's wife ;P

After 2 weeks in Doha...

Can I say m the expat's wife??;P... Back home, m so jealous with the expat's SAHMs lifestyle where they are the ones who can stay in the glamourous klcc vicinity, in the luxurious skyscraper's condo and can jog around the klcc park, shop & dine in expensive shops, etc, etc... And for the expats themselves, they can just walk to work, as most of their offices are walking distance from their rented condos.

Contrary for me & most locals who can't afford to stay in the klcc vicinity and has to go through the massive traffic jam every morning just to reach the office in klcc before 9am and going thru the same thing again in the evening after work. Thinking of that (well not the main reason tho...) I can say I made a good move to join my hubby here... Money wise (being on unpaid leave) I have to close one eye...

Should it'll be a decision for me to quit my job, it's not about career progression & satisfaction but more to a lifestyle satisfaction... M not talking about the fabulous & glamourous lifestyle but more to the time that I can spend with my family. Working hrs here is from 6.30am-2.30pm and from 3pm onwards, the working parents are already home... In KL, our normal time to be home after work is around 6.30pm-7.30pm... My son's bedtime is at 10.30pm, so the average time spent is around 3-4 hrs/day... I admit that we did spend more time with our colleagues, bosses & clients compare to our own family...& not to mention the time waste on the road... That's the reality back home...

Well, maybe my intro as the expat's housewife;p haha... Will report my SAHM's life from time to time... ;))
