Full house...

Last week, both my sisters and families from JB & Ktn as well as my parents from KB came to KL and stayed with us for a weekend. So meriah ler... The kids were sooo excited, except the new comer, baby Aflah who had no clue why the surroundings were extraordinary noisy & havoc...

Akid's projects & activities for last week:

1. He brought back some seeds of been sprout and placed it in wet cotton. See how they grew... Well, this is part of his school's science project...

2. He brought back his hand-made 'hand' from his art class & see where he placed it... Always somewhere along with the display stuffs. Kdg2 menyelit jer toys, elok jer dia susun kat mana2 shelves, along with the vases, picture frames, etc, as if they are part of display items... hmmm sometimes I just let it be...

3. He cooked pasta for breakfast on Sunday morning :), of course with my company and guidance...

Business trip to Uzbekistan

Last month, it was a really hectic month, with me travelling to Uzbek, office work, projects, trainings, etc... I miss 4 weekends with family and also missing 4 swimming classes... Bila la kitaorg nak pandai berenang kalau camni...

I went to Uzbek early Mar for a week and came back for training, appraisal and NVQ review, which all crashed in that week. Then on the Friday the 13th, I had to travel again to Uzbek and was stuck over there for 2 weeks... Well, now I know how it was like to deal with the govt. consultant in Uzbek...

The first time being in Uzbek, the weather was very cold but towards the end of Mar it was warmer and the flowers started to bloom... On the 23rd Mar, it was a Nawru'z day, a celebration to welcome spring... Nawruz is a 'big' thing, mark a significant day for Uzbek folks. On that day, they send cards, bake cookies and prepare special meal and almost everybody will join the celebration which are normally organized in a public park...

Nowruz day is from Persian word means 'New Light' or widely referred to as the Persian New Year. It was celebrated by Persian and has spreas in many other parts of the world including Central Asia, where Uzbekistan is one of them.

Registan was the heart of Ancient Samarkand. Registan means 'Sandy place' in Persian. There are 3 madrasahs (schools) of Registan (3 separate buidlings) i.e. Ulugh Beg, Tilya Kori and Sher Dor madrasah.

Re-energizer workshop...

The workshop attended on Sunday to Monday, again held in Shangri-La, Putrajaya. Apart of serious things discussed in the workshop, they organized the game in the evening. I had the ample time to take the pics as I'm one of the juries for that. Actually, I came late for the game session and every group already had enough participants. So, the organizer asked me to be the jury ;)

As for the room, it's great as everything is new and it's very comfy too. However the parking lot is quite far from the lobby and I have to drag my luggage across the road, all the way to lobby.

Activity on Sunday morning...

This morning, the 3 of us went for the 1st swimming lesson at UKM, Bangi. In that session, we were thought about breathing technique and floating... It was fun, tak sabar nak pandai berenang... heheee

Selesai jer kelas renang, ada budak ni kelaparan, baru jer sekejap belajar berenang... Kitaorg singgah kat Borak Cafe, dlm taman rumah kami ni jer, tuk pekena roti bakar... Bila tengok menu, msg2 order nasi lemak...Konon2 terus lunch... Alahai, top-up balik calori yg burn td, camna nak kurus??

This evening, I need to go to Putrajaya Shangri-La til Monday. The organizer had just distributed the agenda on Friday evening. Ingatkan mlm baru start, ini pukul 3pm dah start... Helllooo, ingat org takder life ker, weekend pun nak suh kerja... grrr...

Then on Tue, I hv to fly to Miri, got a meeting with Shell...will be back on Wed. I got the email from my boss requested me to go to Singapore on Thur-Fri, hmmm... However, on Thur & Fri I need to access juniors for their ACD (Accelerated Capability Development). So I hv the reason to turn down the trip to Singapore... Kerja, kerja, kerja... Ayyo mengomel... Alhamdulillah, I still hold my job and I still have work to do, if to compare with the people who hv been retrenched, lately... We should be grateful, alhamdulillah....
