Biasala malam2 mesti merayap punyer... Last nite we all went up to Tokyo Tower. Takder ler tinggi benor, if not mistaken the height is about 333m. The nite view from up there was magnificent... but it wasn't captured well by our 'chikai' camera... almaklum la kita org tak reti nak usung camera paparazzi gitu....
Be grateful for what we have, cherish the moment, learn from the past and have a blessed and meaningful life... Dari Allah kita datang dan kepadaNya kita akan kembali...

We really had fun & enjoyed ourselves very much. It reminds me of my student time in Paris Disneyland... However, I miss Akid and kept on thinking about him whenever I passed by the fun rides for kids esp. in Toon town, small world & fantasy land... I kept thinking he'll enjoy this & that.... he'll love to see this & that esp. during parade & whenever I bumped into goofy, mickey & gang... Wish Abah & Akid were here...

Life here
So far, this is the only nite that Lida & I stay at our room after office. Normally right after office, we headed to the apartment to drop our laptops & off to some interesting places nearby by train / subway.
This evening Hasni planned to cook curry and invited all of us to his room but I was in bed, flat & couldn't make it. I guess the guys would enjoy the Malaysian food after a week here. As for me, I had a small bun and some orange juice. I'll enjoy Malaysian food after I'm back in KL, sigh...

This is something that we normally have for lunch.
Tempura with japanese rice & some pickles and sushi.

I'm in Tokyo
Hmm how I'm gonna update my blog? The feature buttons are all in squares. Takkan ler nak panggil budak shahriman lagi ek... Baru jer td dia tolong setupkan internet ni. He's our junior instrument eng. but so knowledgeable in IT. I guess there's something to do w setup so that I can view in English... Ayyooo, IT is not my cup of tea. Will find out tomorrow, tanya bebudak junior tu, they are all IT savvy. For now taram jer ler...
We've been here in Tokyo city for 3 nites, travel on Tue midnite (7th) and reached Osaka on 8th in the morning. As planned we had to go straight to Lion plant site upon our arrival from KL. Dgn muka tak mandi, mata sembab and lacked of sleep in flight. I still can't believe that myself and 11 others went through that awful experience.... what a crazy trip! I didn't expect that bad in the first place. Just imagine, 12 of us travelled with at least 2 luggage each and not to forget another backpack/bag for the laptop. From Kansai airport, we took JR line then switched to shinkansen then swithed again to JR train b4 we reached Takamatsu. Yoko san from mitsubishi & 'whatever' san from Lion (I'm very poor in remembering Japanese names except few like nonaka, suzuki, matsushita, nakamura.... others are all mix-up) were like running here & there, arranging buying the tickets for all of us and guided us to get on the right trains. Most of the times, Yoko san couldn't hide that panic-look on her sweet, cute face when we had to rush into the trains. She had to remind us to move faster, 3 minutes, 3 minutes... After we entered the train, she started to count as for not missing any one of us. What a crazy trip, I would say a torturing trip. Next day, some guys were complaining to the PM about that because the itinerary was planned by him. His remarks that he didn't foresee that worse because he had the same trip before... But with 2 or 3 person and melenggang kangkung... of course the journey wasn't bad at all. Another irritating remark from him was "so u guys can't adapt to Japanese style, most of them commute by trains, it's normal". Hellooo, It was not that but the issue was HEAVY LUGGAGE in a big group....
After getting off the 3rd train, we took the taxi to the restaurant arranged by Lion gp. We forgot about that crazy trip for a while when we arrived Del Coma for lunch. The scenic from that restaurant was fantastic where we were facing the panoramic bay view and the great Seto bridge. Right after lunch, we went to the Lion plant by van. We spent half a day there visiting the plant & hv Q&A with the operation engineers.
We continued our journey to the airport and flew to Haneda. We had soba & tempura for dinner at the Haneda airport. Then we continued our final sweating journey for the day to the hotel by an airport coach. Forgot to tell that it is hot here... the temp. is almost similar to Msia, ab. 33 deg C. We were flat... and worse, the next morning we had to checkout from the hotel & 'forced' to stay here at the goodstay weekly mansion. Once again we had to transport over our luggage to this small service apartment..... The good thing about this apartment is I can access to the Internet. Also good for few others maybe because of they can cook. For me, I don't bother. I'm here to work and play and cooking is not in my agenda. From Msia, I just brought the energy bars for bfast and some bread in case of I can't get halal dinner. And I can live with that. Afterall, we'll only be here for 2 weeks, not 2 months. Furthermore it's the time to adventure for the local halal food.
Opps talking about local food, I have enough tempura & sushi for these 3 days. Yesterday meeting with Nippon, they served us tempura and sushi with sticky rice for lunch. I can't finished the rice even it was served in a small bowl. For today's team building, we had tempura for lunch & buffet for dinner which also had tempura & sushi. I enjoyed tempura for lunch and ignore that sticky rice. For dinner, I ignore all the Japanese food, sushi, tempura or soba and just took fruits & tuna croissant. Luckily they served western desert. After dinner we went to queen-isetan and managed to get some items before it closed at 9pm. Plan to go again tomorrow with Mardiah. Lida has to attend for a progress meeting tomorrow. I jokingly asked the PM to release her since we had our own plan, but he wants his project engineer to attend, period. Others can have their own free & easy agenda.
As for yesterday, luckily we finished the meeting with Nippon quite early, about 4pm. So we had time to go to Roppongi looking for the hard rock cafe stuffs, on the way back we stopped at Ginza station & strolled along the ginza st. but most of the outlets were closed at 8pm. Lida & I will definitely go there again sometimes next week... at least for window shopping...
I'll attach the pics later... I'd better hv a gud sleep before I go for Tokyo's sightseeing tomorrow ..... and we planned to the Disneyland on Sunday.....
I loooveeeeeeeeeee weekends..... :))

I'm going North
It has been a while since I last visited this blog of mine & quite a lot of things going on since then. Last 2 weeks, we took emergency leaves & flew back to KB right after my mum informed that my auntie passed away in her sleep. It's really touching to think that my uncle has lost his best friend, all this while they've been living & spending time together. The late auntie left 5 children and 5 grandchildren and may she rest peacefully. Alfatihah.
Well, actually I've just finished packing up my things, checked my workforce portal emails & stop here at my blog for a while. Hmmm baca email office, belum sempat ke Utara, there's a planned trip for me in early August for another project which I'm simultaneously handled. Well few things need to be prepared for presentation and meetings. The trips are not just trips as attending trainings or what not but it comes with responsibilities & tasks to deliver. Life is hectic for us, really. Recently I travelled to Melaka and that was considered ok with 2 hrs driving. My junior has been travelling from last week to Kerteh. Today, she's in Taiping & on Wed, she'll be joining me in Gurun... Well her baby is growing up with most of his time spent on road... pity her, pity the baby too...
Malasnyer fikir nak drive up to Sg. Petani... I gave an excuse for not attending courses in Bukit Merah and ended up asked to pfk for a week and have to drive further up, all just by a phone call & smses.... I was thinking of taking flight to Alor Setar but I guess it'll be easier to move around by car. Is it GTS for Group Technical Solutions or Go Travel Sokmo?? It's not a glamor job in deed but tiring.... However that's one way for a living, nothing comes easy, I guess.
Well, I think better I make a move now... To go there, of which the last time I went was 10 years ago... not that sure of the route but taram jer lah... Hope I can safely reach the hotel & hope there'll be sign boards around... Hopefully tak terlepas exit-Sg. Petani & tak tersesat teruk in town... sesat sket2, biasa jer lah... Btw, sibuk ker Sg. Petani skrg?
Cau cin cau...
